We are looking for a Territory Manager to take care of the business development of the Orthopaedic division in Germany.
Role Description
The
role involves responsibility for achieving sales and strategic objectives in
the area of responsibility, through pre-sale promotion of IGEA's Biophysical
stimulation line of products (Bone growth stimulation and Joint care) to
prescribers and after-sales support to patients. The position involves both business development and
account management activities in the field of trauma, orthopaedics, rehabilitation
and sports medicine. The candidate will be part of the internationalisation
process of the BGS division at IGEA, covering West of Germany
(NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN, HESSEN, RHEINLAND PFALZ, SAARLAND) and will report to the
International Business Development Manager.
Role
· Represent the company’s product portfolio and explain main indications to prescribers (doctors and physios) by means of evidence based medicine (clinical papers)
· Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential prescribers
· Represent IGEA at conferences and events to generate new leads, build relationships and keep up to date with the latest scientific data
· Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
· Advise customers (patients) about the right device, the best formula (renting or buying) and how to process order on e-commerce platform, in partnership with Customer care
· Attend fittings for our devices at 100% in hospital setting and if required at private market
Responsibilities
· Prospect and qualify new sales leads (BG Kliniken, Sports Medicine clinics, Other)
· Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
· Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products and solutions
· Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly, with a focus on prescribers
· Manage the entire sales funnel from lead generation to conversion and loyalty
· Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies
Must to have
· Sales background within the medical technology industry, preferably in the hospital environment
· At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the role, in the pharmaceutical or medical device sector
· Experience in working closely with physicians, physio, nursing staff, hospital administration, supply chain and other relevant stakeholders to achieve sales objectives
· Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, public hospitals, private clinics, competition in the industry and positioning of the therapy.
· Excellent communication skills, Required: Native German speaker and advanced English

· Field based with frequent travel in Germany and sometimes in IGEA Head Office Italy

Your tasks:
You will support our office and take on various and stimulating tasks in the following areas:
Administration:
- Management of the general email inbox, processing incoming requests and forwarding them to the competent contacts.
- Maintenance of our databases and support in the organizational planning of daily office activities.
- Filing and structuring of documents for ordered and readily available documentation.
- Support for the team with general administrative tasks.
Customer Service:
- Telephone and written support to our customers for questions and requests regarding our products and services.
- Documentation of customer requests and ensuring fluid communication with the customer service team.
- Processing and sending offers to patients.
- Entering orders received offline.
- Organization of the collection of rental devices.
Event Organization:
- Organization of hotel bookings and airport transfers for guests.
- Preparation and provision of marketing materials for events and meetings.
What you bring:
- Excellent written and oral skills in German and English; knowledge of Italian is welcome but not necessary.
- Excellent knowledge of the MS-Office package (in particular Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Organizational skills and an autonomous working approach.
- Strong communication skills and an open attitude.
- Possibility of having an ongoing course of study.
